I would like to know if there is any supporting documents or information on
the limitations of the file compression utility that comes included with
Windows XP versus a comercial product like Winzip. I was told that the WinXP
utility has a limitation on the numbers of characters listed in a compression
session going from the root (example the "C" drive) to the target of 256, is
this true? Is there any other concerns in not opting to using the built in
util.
