Remove trailing slash

I have many files under a directory, for example devices.html. If the
user browses to a path that has those files, I want the mod_rewrite to
remove a slash that trails the require uri. Therefore, the stylesheets
and images will have the appropriate paths to work with. Any advice on
a RewriteRule?
