Can anybody tell me what graphical tools are commonly used to show
total number of the hits on a site, how many hits on a specific page,
etc.? Are these tools free?

Thanks in advance for any advice and pointers.

Google for Webalizer, I think it is pretty configurable.

On that note, AWStats, I've been having problems with the trunkating of long
lines in the access_log file with awstats.pl

I'm seeing entries like the following which lead me to believe my LogFormat
descriptors might be needing a tweek but:

Reverse DNS lookup for 2:38:30 not available without ipv6 plugin enabled.
Reverse DNS lookup for 2004:12:41:49 not available without ipv6 plugin
enabled.
Reverse DNS lookup for :49:50 not available without ipv6 plugin enabled.


Here's what they look like now:
