Apache and subdomain named "directory"

| Hi,
i have a customer that needs a subdomain named "directory" for example
directory.domainname.com
Yes, the subdomain is named "directory"
This doesnt work, apache is ignoring this virutal host entry.
Can someone please test the result.

Technically that's an easy thing to do. It requires proper configuration
of the webserver and your DNS records.

| you have to configure DNS. create new addess record named
"subdomain.domain.com" and restart dns and you have to configure also
/etc/host.conf file
