Hi all,

I have a apache webserver with a 192.168.1.2 address in a DMZ. Apache logs
all external request as they are coming from 192.168.1.1 (the gateway). How
do I log the remote host instead of the internal IP address?

Thank you
A. Balsamo

You will need to configure the gateway to provide the information in an
HTTP header to the Web server; otherwise the information is not
available to the Web server in the DMZ and therefore cannot be logged.
