I am a newbee and am having trouble configuring apache. I just want
to use it as a localhost on my machine for development purposes.

I can't seem to run anything. I get a access permision denied error
no mater what I try to run and no mater where (what folder) I put it
in.

Help!

If you are running on XP go to
http://www.cgi101.com/book/connect/winxp.html
it has a nice tur. on installing apache on XP
