I have Apache set up as an automatic service. I have c thru g drives, it is
in G:/
The server starts when winbloze xp pro starts. Any problems seen with this?
I am still reading the Apache site http://httpd.apache.org/docs/sitemap.html
but I figured that judging from the knowledge on here that this may be an
easy one? :-)
Thank you in advance.

Daniel

Sure. Any vulnerabilities (such as configuration errors) you may run will
become active when the server starts. OTOH, not starting the server will
create a usability problem known as downtime. Only you can decide which is
worse.

....or, IOW, if your server is safe to run, it's probably safe to run
whenever; if you don't know that it is, you shouldn't connect it to the
Internet at all.
