Hi,

I installed Apache 2 (latest version) and php5 on a XP machine linked
to DSL.I can get the Apache startup page with http://localhost but when
I try to call up a php doc nothing comes up such as
http://localhost/phpinfo.php. Any ideas why this is happening? I copied
php5ts.dll and php5apache2.dll to windows/system32 directory and I
copied and renamed php.ini to the windows directory as directed by a
php5 book.

Where do I put my php files? I tried it in different locations such as
C:\ or in the Apache Group directory htdocs but I still cannot open any
php files. Thanks much for any help.

Did you read the install.txt that's installed in the php directory?
