Web Servers on Windows - Error when installing apache.

Error when installing apache.

Hi,
I've been trying to install apache 2.0.54 but everytime i run the
installer it say "Please wait." It then returns "Internal Error 2735.
ResolveServerName." and then the installer exits before anything is
installed. Any ideas how to fix this so i can install apache?

Have you tried the install while being online? I found one (similar)
instance of this at
http://www.issociate.de/board/post/...he_problem.html and
he solved it by connecting to the net. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestion quicksilver :-) I'm on a broadband connection
so i'm always online. But it seems to make no difference in my case(i've
tried disconnecting the modem and then plugging it back in). Oh well i
guess i'll do more experimenting to see if i can get it working.
