Hello,
This isn't my machine but i've been asked to help and i'm clueless.
Situation, rh9 machine with cups on it, samba3 printserver. Locally the
printer works fine, user's on the Linux box can print without a problem.
It's an epson can't remember the model right offhand. The printer is set up
as a raw queue in samba and windows printer drivers have successfully been
uploaded for win2k/xp. This has been verified and it is working just fine.
The downloading of these drivers on to a workstation also works without an
error. The problem comes when a page is printed, the error:
"The test page refused to print. Access is denied."
appears. On the Linux box the printcap file has an entry for both print
queues, the local linux one with i think it's a gs driver, and the raw queue
for windows printing, yet lpq only reports on the single queue the linux
queue.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Dave.
