Hello,

I'm getting some complaints from my bios, but the messages go by too
quickly for me to see what they are, other than something about an 80 pin
connector.

Is there a way to view these messages? Or to slow the damn thing down (or
stop it completely would be the best) so I can read the F)#^%^ing messages?

It happens WAY before the OS loads, and if I hit DEL to get to the BIOS
settings, I can't see the messages either....

SIGH...

Try using the Scroll Lock and/or Pause/Break key(s)

hat normally shows up if your Hard drive is UltraATA and you are using
an old 40 core IDE cable, you need to upgrade the cable to an 80core
Ultra IDE cable to take advantage of the faster DMA.

Use the Pause key on your keyboard, to continue press return.
