Squid - Squi slow response....

Hello,

I have one squid 2.5 running in transparent mode
The statistics generated from the access.log are
ok, almost 50% of HIT requests. But web pages
take about 10 seconds to display, a little bit less
at the second time, but its still very long. I checked
my dns_nameservers params and they are ok..
Anyone has an idea? Should i add localhost or the
local dns ip in dns8nameservers?
