Hi there

We are testing a scenario with a w2k3 server with Novanet-web edition. Our plan is to store users data on another server. In Novanet we have specified data path to be eg. \\datasrv\userdata

When a client tries to connect so they can make a backup, the client returns a "the user is not valid".

but when we on the server instead points data path to be on same machine, there is no problem connecting with the client.

Note: in novanet we have used local account auth. and the users are configued on all servers in this test.

Anyone have any experience with Novanet and maybe seen the same problem.... and found a workaround other than just store backup data on the same server.
