Just used it to copy xp-pro from one scsi drive to another larger scsi
drive. Did a 100% accurate copy. Then did a copy of the system to an
external usb drive. Again, did the job. As of right now, imo., great
program.

PS. casper took care of all drive letter assignments. I have 4 partitions.

I just tried the demo and it backed up my 4 partitioned dos drive under
XP pro at 289 meg a min and thats fast. My tape drive is about 60 meg a
min running under DOS Novaback, and MS Backup is maybe 135 meg a min.
Sent them an e-mail and had reply back in 20 min and this was before 8am
Eastern Time. My set up is dual boot DOS/XP under Boot Magic from
Partition Magic and they said.

"Casper XP has only limited support for cloning dual boot
configurations. While it fully supports cloning dual boot Windows 9x/ME
and Windows XP/2K configurations, other dual boot configurations are not
officially supported.

Unofficially, I believe Casper XP should be able to do the job for you;
however, Casper XP will not clone the Boot Magic master boot record
overlay. Consequently, this would have to be restored manually if
possible on the backup hard disk."

It looks like it might be possible to clone each of my drives to a
partition on my 250 gig backup drive as it gives each clone a new drive
letter. The demo version can not do that though and it wants to use the
whole backup drive and can not resize partitions.

I will have to think about it but sure looks interesting. Read the user
comments on their site as they rave about it and it will do RAID etc.
