I'm using Powerquest (now norton) Drive Image 7.0/8.0 for doing
backups of my Windows 2k systems and my Linux firewall. I'm very
pleased with it as I can do backups on either CD-R or on a shared
network drive. Since only one of my win2k systems have a burner I
always backups all my other computers on one of it's network drive.

Now I'm building a FreeBSD 4.x server and found out that drive image
doesn't support it's FFS file system. So I have to find myself a
replacement to Drive Image. Preferably I would like use the same
program for all my systems and I don't mind having to reboot and run
the program from a floppy like I did with drive image. So here's some
features I'm looking for the backup software:

- supports FAT,FAT32,NTFS,EXT2,EXT3,SWAP,FFS. Or maybe even better if
it does a bit by bit entire copy of the HD (so it could support any
file systems)
- Backup to CD-R (and/or DVD-R), local and networked drives
- I would like it to be very similar to Drive Image
- supports compression
- Can do image splitting (I use to slit my images in 700M parts so I
can store them to CDs)

If you know a program that only support FFS file system but works like
drive image let me know I can still use drive image for my other
systems

Thanks in advance
