Can I install more than two hard drives in my PC? I just bought a 120 gig HD
and would like to add it to my PC. However, I already have two and the cable
coming from the IDE connector does not have another socket for the third
one. Can I add more than two HD to my PC? If so, I would appreciate your
help for how to get accomplish this.

Thanks in advance

Carlos

Carlos, I installed rails or tracks in my computer. They are cheap,
easy to install and you can use any number of hard drives you desire
by merely sliding them in and out on the rails of your computer.

You will need to purchase an ATAPI card, assumiing that you have a free card
slot.

Many MBs have two IDE connectors. If yours does, just add an IDE cable --
you can have two HDs per IDE cable. If not, buy a PCI-IDE adapter card.

You also need somplace in your PC box to house that 3rd HD, and you need
a power cable from the PS to that HD or a power Y-cable.

All flavors of WinXP, W9x, and W3x support way more than 2 HDs.
