BackupExec Disable retry full backup job after full backup job ends with error

Hello.
We use
- BackupExec 9.0 Rel. 4202
- media rotation with
- differential backup from Tuesday to Friday
- and a full backup on Saturday.
Our last full backup ends with an error in Job Log:
"Attention: File \SYSTEM\ndsimon\DSTRACE\TRACE9.HTM on Media is
damaged"
Because everything else is ok we can use this backup for our
archive.
Now Backup Exec tried on Tuesday to do a full backup again and
not a differential.
How can I disable this feature to go on with differential
backup again?
I also excluded the folder \SYSTEM\ndsimon\DSTRACE so it will
not backup again.

| I presume you have two jobs setup, one for the full backup and another for
the differential?
In the full backup job, have a look at the properties and find the option to
restart the job after x amount of time if it fails (can't remember where the
setting is, and am writing this from home, so can't check), and see how long
it is set to. Is it 3 days?
What happened to the differential backup? Did it also try to run, or did
only the full backup run?
Haven't seen this one myself to be honest, so just trying to think of things
to check.
