how do you restore an image in dos ? I'm running XP but want to restore from
a dos start point, not in a dos window within XP. Do you just locate and run
driveimage.exe in dos to restore ?

Thanks

You have to boot with the Drive Image 7 CD. Then locate youe image and restore.

DOS does not exist anymore as of Drive Image 7.0.
In order to restore a system partition you will have to boot from the
program CD into the PQRE (=(P)ower(Q)uest (R)ecovery (E)nvironment). This
environment is based on Microsoft's Windows PE environment that fully
supports USB 1.1/2.0 and FireWire interfaces. Also the regular network card
interfaces are supported enabling you to perform a restore from an external
computer.
