Tapeware and old Seagate Backup Exec tapes?

My new Certance Travan backup drive came bundled with Tapeware. Does
anyone know if I can use it to restore my old tapes saved with Seagate
Backup Exec? Or do I have to find the long-lost CD for Backup Exec?
