Backup Exec to DVD Config Questions

Hi

I have a Windows Small Business Server running Veritas BackupExec 9.1
for Windows Small Business Server and want to back up to DVDs on a
Plextor PX-712A DVD drive.

The BE manual says this should work although this particular drive
isn't mentioned as compatible (very new drive model but I think it
should be fine).

The drive isn't showing up on the available hardware list.

Anybody out there have experience with this?

Suggestions?
