What device, equipment etc do I need to back up my data on my PC ?

The following are most important for me to back up.

1- all my text, word, ( very few Pdf files), emails in OE, few
pictures etc.

2 - My emails are are in OE and they are very important to me. I need
them to be backed up too along with the above.

Can anyone pls. help. I need a simple solution since I am not
technical.(plug and play)

How much will the backup device cost ? Any particular brand ?
