I need to parse portions of my Veritas backup logs (BEXXX.TXT) to an Excel
spreadsheet to which I can apply pivot tables to analyse my backups. I
would like to use Windows scripting if possible.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

If you want the stuff to be used in Excel, best likely is to use VBA macro
to read BEXXX.TXT file and create appropriate Excel worksheet(s).
