How do I configure veritas to backup pst files?

I do backups of workstations during the day but one user keeps their pst
file in the directory selected for backups. I regularly get database or
database element is corupt errors because mail is open when the backkup
is performed

You would need an open files backup agent or run a time job at night
to back the files up when everyone is logged out.
