| Not so. He has one drive partitioned into two. PIO mode would affect both
virtual drives, since they are on the same physical drive. How large is the
system drive, and how large is the backup drive? What File system is each
drive using? (NTFS, FAT32, or FAT16) My system backup using Norton Ghost
2002 in MS Dos mode takes about 15 minutes on a Pentium II, 233mhz machine.
All of my drives are formatted as FAT32. I have never imaged an NTFS drive,
but I have imaged a FAT16 drive to a FAT32 drive, with no degradation of
performance. There is a possibility that your target drive may be a bit too
small.
