My system does the same thing,,, I think! I am running
Windows XP Pro. After about eight months it suddenly will display the
dreaded Blue Scree of Death and then after a few seconds it will
automaticly reboot. Sometimes it will go ten -twelve hours with out
this happening, but mostely it will happen after much lesser time
periods . It is the same with any kind of software running or not.
I have WebRoots spybot, Norton AntiVirus Auto Protect and the
Windows, firewall running in TSR. I thought the problem was due to a
virus or worm that had slipped in. But I have been informed the above
problem is an inherited trate of Windows and therfore I will just have
to live with it.
