I was using the Backup utility that comes with XP and is Systems Utilities
folder.

I installed Norton Ghost backup to try and the Windows backup utility is now
not in the menu.
I un-installed Ghost and the Windows backup utility is still no in the menu.

How can I get the Windows Backup utility back into the Utilities folder.? I
would like to use it for backing up files vs Ghost.

Thanks for any tips!

I doubt if installing Norton uninstalled NTBACKUP; it probably just removed
NTBACKUP for the menu. So, you probably only need to Open that menu and then
File/New/Shortcut to restore the link to NTBACKUP.

At worst, you can reinstall NTBACKUP from the XP CD. You do have a CD, eh?

Hi,

Take a look at:

http://www.argentuma.com/backup/art...ng-started.html

It includes information on how to set up Microsoft (Windows) Backup on
Windows XP.

Also you may want to take a look at:
http://www.argentuma.com/backup/

for a better alternative.
