Hey,

Is it possible to make an image direct to DVD with this version?
The program is all telling me that it must be CD's and I do not like this at
all.

ANY CLUE?

thanks Robert

Acronis TrueImage 8.0 can only write the image to DVD directly IF a
UDF packet writing system is installed (InCD, DLA, Roxio, etc.).
Acronis allows you to split up the image file as well, and you can
specify the size. I usually set the splits at 4.5GB, and then burn
those files to DVD. I can restore this DVD image using the rescue
boot disk. HTH. If you want to image directly to DVD, get Ghost 9.0.
It's a slightly beefed up version on Powerquest's old Drive Image 7.
I have both, I just prefer Acronis (personal preference only). HTH.
