I notice that my computer always starts the file schedhlp.exe, which I
found is part of Acronis True Image.
I understand it's desirable to keep it on, but it seems to hog a lot of
system resources, viewable in Windows Task Manager > Processes.
I don't think it's supposed to do that. Turning it off always vastly
improves the computer's performance.
Anyone know why it behaves like that?
I'd like to be able to keep it going if possible, but can't abide how it
slows everything down.
BTW, it only does it after the computer's been on for a while. Initially
it doesn't, but eventually takes up up to about 30% of the CPU's activity.

Thanks OJ.
That forum suggests that the schedhlp.exe takes up very little CPU
resources, but that's not the case with mine.
I'm still in the dark.
