Ghost 10: How much virtual memory is needed?
|
|

| Most of the time Ghost 10 has run without error.
However, twice, Ghost 10 has terminated claiming there was not enough
virtual memory.
The 2nd time, it looks like it had already created the base recovery point
and it had used a bit over 500MB of actual memory and was not happy with an
increased size page file, even tho, it could have requested both more actual
memory and more virtual memory.
What's the problem?

Based on my experiences with Ghost 10 this past week, I believe that Ghost
10 is not ready for prime time.
I will violate one of the tenets of my relgion, i.e., to not use demo
sotware, and I will download the demo version of Acronis Tre Image.
Perhaps, I will not encounter the problems that some have been posting in
Acronis forum?
And, at least Acronis has a forum in which usrs can help each other, and
Acronis personnel seem to participate.

OK, I'll repost my queries there.
