Just installed XP and, of course, Nero 6 broke.

They want fifty bucks to upgrade to 7.0, but it looks like the 6.6 upgrades are
freebies.

Anybody managed to get 6.0 upgraded to run under XP?

Do I really need Nero anymore?

Seems like maybe there's some sort of API or something in XP that WinZip 10
uses. Could there be a native XP utility that I'm missing?

Oops... got it by trying the (now) obvious: downloaded the entire 6.6 package
and when I fired up the install, it found my existing 6.0 and upgraded it.

You need a program such as Nero/InCD or Roxio Easy Media Creator to record
optical media.
