I was thinking about purchasing either Norton Ghost 9.0 or Acronis True
Image 8.0.

I have two destop PCs running Windows XP Pro. It's my understanding
that because of Symantec's registration scheme, I can't install Ghost
on both PCs. Because of this, I'm thinking about getting True Image.

Have any of you been able to back up 2 computers using a single copy of
either of these products? I'd hate to buy two copies of the same
software.

If there's no choice, I guess that's what I'll have to do since the
software would pay for itself if I need to restore a single time.
However, I'd prefer to not pay twice if I don't need to. Ghost is
pretty pricey.
