Is there a good program for burning backups to DVDs? I've tried Nero, MyDVD
and Argentuma's Backup to disk which I burned to DVD later. Also I have
never found a really good summary review article on the subject.

Ideally the program would (1) by control backup to compressed or
uncompressed files, (2) provide a directory listing the original size and
date of all files on any backup DVD in a searchable format, (3) would be
able to extract backedup single files and/or folders to my hard drive to a
different location than the original (e.g. - put the files or folders in a
folder /restore/and then the original file location (4) would remember
different backup tasks and (5) would be able to deal with both single and
dual layer media.

Does anything remotely like this exist? or at least are there two programs
(backup/directory and burn) that work together to accomplish this relatively
easily?

Could use some advice if anyone has some ideas. Nothing works
exactly the way I would like it to. Here's some suggestions:
ZipBackup - http://www.zipbackup.com/
GRBackPro - http://www.grsoftware.net/backup/so.../grbackpro.html
ICE Mirror - http://www.ice-graphics.com/ICEMirror/IndexE.html
Anyone with experience with these? I don't want to back up the whole
drive - just data in various directories and their subdirectories.
