One Touch backup by Maxtor

| I see now that Maxtor is selling external hard drives with a back up
call, "One Touch Backup".
Is this backup an image backup?
I have 4 partitions on the hard drive in my computer, would this
backup all four and restore all four?
I have a little less than 40gigs on my harddrive. Can I partition
the 80Gig Maxtor with "One Touch" so I could get two backups on it.
That is, one week I make a backup, next week I create another backup
so I would now have two back ups on the external hard drive
What are your comments about "OneTouch Backup"?

| The Maxtor comes with Dantz retrospect backup software.

I have used my Maxtor one touch 5000LE 80GB drive for about one year, and
love it. I also use Ghost for an image file and do this to an external
firewire drive.

| You do not want to have two backup sets on the same media.
I also have the 80GB maxtor one touch, two of them.
I alternate between the drives, never having both connected/plugged-in at
the same time.
The drive comes with a watered down version of Retrospect software.
You are better off ignoring the one touch button and just crreating your own
Run scripts within Retrospect.
Also, the retail version of Retrospect has more features than the version
that ships with the drive.

What the name of the service or run-time that schedules the onetouch
backup ?
