Backup Exec has missing system state
|
|
|
| Hey all,
I have Backup Exec running on a Windows 2003 server, and when I go to
setup a new job, "system state" isn't where it should be (where it is
on my other servers), so I can't select it. It does give me the option
of saving the system state under "shadow copy components", but I think
that would be a nightmare to try and restore a shadow copy, then try to
restore *that* to get my system state back.
Anyway, I've looked at Veritas' knowlegde base, and I've trawled the
web. I've "repaired" the install, and completely re-installed it, all
to no avail.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
DSt.

| Was your backup exec version 9.1?
And did you ever get a solution?
My problem isn't the system state, but I tried most of the same repair steps without success. |
