problem invoke Acronis TI8 Restore on Dell laptop

| I have been using Acronis True Image 8 to backup / restore
my XP Home PC for for than a year. So far so good, and I like
Acronis TI much better than Ghost 9.
Until yesterday I bought a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop.
Install TI8 and backup OK.
Upon restore, the UI boot up. When I click Restore, the Dell laptop
rebooted itself instead of going to the backup UI.
I tried several time, no luck.
I ended up backup my laptop using ghost 2k3 in DOS mode.
Anyone has similar problem?

| I would check with dell..I just bought a desktop and the disk has 3
partitions..one regular, one for the dell-originated disk restore and
one probably a smart boot loader...Maybe the dell didnt like the way
you were restoring
