Ghost 9 now failing...?

Howdy,
I have an XP system that is on our network via wireless
connection.
For about three months, it has used Ghost 9 to create a
remote image ever few days.
The process worked so well that after a while I checked on
it less frequently.
Today, I discovered that for the last two weeks, it has not
successfully created any images.
I have deleted, and re-created the backup job to no avail.
Here's what happens:
The image creation starts properly and continues to the
point that about half a gig has been written (the complete
image is about 3.5 gig.)
Then, I get the Ghost error:
"Did not complete successfully.
Error E7D1001F. Unable to write to file. Error 00000040: the
specified network name is no longer available."
Near the tray, I get the Windows error:
"Delayed write failed."
I will add that the wireless signal shows its strength to be
"excellent."
What might be causing all of this?
Thanks for any help,
--
Kenneth

Kenneth,
Hi, here's what I'm thinking, you are either having slowdowns in
the destination machine which are sending timeouts back to the laptop
(I assume) or you're getting signal dropouts due to interference in
the wireless connection. See if you can log your wireless connection
so that you can pull them up for a look after the next failure.
One other thing, what has changed in your environment about the
time the backups started to fail? Moved computers? Changed the
physical location of either machine? Changed break area, microwaves,
new vending machines?
If it worked untill resently, then something has changed... all
you have to do is figure out what.
Easy as cake or is that Piece of pie?
Good luck.
if it hurts... take a pill!
