I have recently acquired an Exabyte EXB-10 which is basically an old
full height Exabyte drive inside 10 tape stacker library. I am looking
to test it out under Windows 2000 pro and am asking can anyone recommend
some software that will drive the tape and library robot so I can test it.

I do not want to spend $$$$ if it isn't going to be much use, like the
DDS1 DAT drive that was going to take 24 hours + to backup 30Gb.

TIA

I can sell you a used EXB-10H changer which has 10 positions, a half
height scsi drive and the large 50 pin scsi connector. When I tested it
with Novaback under DOS, because it was handy, it backed up 31.6 meg in
the first 5 min (the drive does not have built in compression. It would
be slightly faster under Windows and speeds up a bit with time once its
past the initial overhead. Novaback works well. Asking US $50 plus
shipping which is cheap for a changer and drive.
