Hi all

We are looking at a server for accounting software and have been offered an
HP Storageworks Ultrium 232 tape drive.
We are currently using a Sony AIT3 drive for file/print and exchange
servers.

Questions:

How do the two drives compare for quality/reliability?
The Ultrium is specified as taking 200Gb tapes - is this uncompressed?
The AIT3 is more expensive with lower native capacity, but using one would
standardise on tapes etc.

Any comments on the choice for the new server welcome.

TIA

Phil
