| Hello NG!
I have a simple question: Is there a way to install the Backup Exec
Software on the same Server as DPM is installed? I know, in the
setup-routine the message comes that it is not possible, but perhaps
there is a workaround?
Thank you for your answers!

| Sorry, It isn't supported. Microsoft specifically does not support it
either. Only the remote agent is supported on the DPM server.

| Christof,
The message is there because installing both on the same system causes
issues that you don't want. Stick with the remote agent and remotly protect
the DPM server and your life will stay happier!
Thanks
