Deletion of files with specific alteration date after Backup?

| Hi,
we're planning to free up our fileserver (2003 Server) from old files
and searching for a tool that automatically deletes files with a
specific alteration date.
Until now I thaught that this could be done with Veritas Backup Exec 9,
but there are only two modes: One modes provides deletion of all files
after the backup, but I'm not able to enter a specific alteration date.
In the other mode I'm able to choose a specfic date. But unfortunately
this mode offers no ability to delete the files after the backup.
Does anyone know a tool for this intention?

Hi Mike. I don`t, of course, know how many files\folders you have to deal
with.
A method I use for a moderate amount of files, is to click in the date
column
header, to bring the early\late dates to the top, then hilight them and
Delete.
Best I can do.
best wishes..OJ
