Can someone recommend software to duplicate data drive ( advantage
database, documents) to a server offsite connected through vpn? Both
are windows 2003 server used a file and print server - no AD.

Assuming that you're not dealing with open files that need to be copied
and that you're only copying in a single direction...

rsync

If you're trying to go in both directions, not sure. Linux folks
usually talk about "unison" when doing bi-directional mirroring.

It should back up open files I should have mentioned that earlier -
sorry. It only need to dupicate one way - active server to offsite
server. Anyone have any experience with doubletake?
