Can't restore files using Norton Save and Restore
|

| I've been using Norton Save & Restore to make full backups of my
system, but today I needed to do a restore, and my most recent backup
was two weeks old. So I did a "Files only" backup of my most important
folders and my Firefox and Thunderbird profiles to my external hard
drive, and then did a full system restore on my main hard drive.
The restore worked, and the backed up files are there on the external
hard drive, but Norton doesn't see them... I have a horrible feeling
that something essential was wiped out during the restore, and that's
why the program won't see the files to restore them.
Is there any way I can restore these files?
Cheers,
Julie

What happens when you launch "Recover My Files" and do a "Import Backup
Location" and point it to your "File Backup Data" folder ?
(Have you contacted Symantec tech support about this?)
