| Hi All,
I am running a HP Proliant Ml370 with Windows 2000 Server and Backup
Exec 9.1
Basically Scheduled Backup Job's are taking twice as long to run than
normal.
The Jobs were running at 389 Mb/Min now running at 105Mb/Min
So far I have:
Defragged all Drives and run Check now on all drives - all coming back
with no Problems.
Turned off Verify after Backup
Disabled Virus Software - Mcafee Virusscan Enterprise 8.0
Checked that the networking configuration for Remote connection is set
to Full Duplex
Checked Disk Space - all Ok
Run erase on tapes and replaced Tape Media
Checked System and Application Event Logs for warnings/errors - None
found
Reinstalled the Tape Driver and made sure it is the up to date version
Checked for updated firmware on the tape drive to make sure it is the
latest level - All Fine and up to date
Checked for Updates for Backup Exec 9.1 - none available
Does anybody have any other ideas on what to try?
Thanks
Shaun
