Hi Group;

I am running 10.1 rev 5629 on Win2003 server

I have a job that uses pre/post job commands that call on batch files
to use the netsvc.exe command to stop services on 2 servers, run the
backup, then start the previously stopped services.

EG: C:\windows\stop.bat

Stop.bat reads:

netsvc w3svc \\server /stop
netsvc mysql \\server /stop

Start reads the same but change stop to start.

I tested the batch files and they do indeed stop and start the
services.
The problem I ran into seems to be with the Backup Exec. It gives an
error stating that the file cannot be found.

Error (2): The system cannot find the file specified.

I found one thing on the Veritas support site that seems innocuous.
They say to set the logon for the remote agent to local system. I have
done that and will wait for tonights job to see if it helps. I wanted
to post here to see if anyone had any other tips.

TIA
Drew
