about following hardware as a reliable backup storage system.

Pentium II Deschutes 400MHz
Intel 440BX
256 MB PC133
Adaptec AIC-7890AB
3xSeagate 36,7 GB, Cheetah 10K.6, ST336807LW, 68-pin, U320 SCSI (RAID
5)

Backup software is Veritas 10

Hi Lezo,
You meet the minimum requirements listed in the Symantec documentation. More
memory wouldn't hurt though.

Depends on the amount of data and number of machines you are backing up.
