Advantrix Backup Plus v6.0.4

| Here is my situation, all of a suddend when I try and do a backup I get this error
message:
Error performing backup
Error: -2147417848
That error code is not in the trouble shooting section of the help files...I've done
a ton of searches for the error code, but unable to find anything.
I've contacted Advantrix and they told me they don't support that version anymore
since it's 3 years old. They want me to upgrade to the newest version.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should be happy. Usually, these kind of messages only appear
when you need to restore.

Thanks for telling us. Some of us may need to decide on new
backup software soon. And this is very relevant information to
all of us.
As for your problem: tuff luck. Sorry.
Try to find a reliable backup solution. And make sure that the
supplier actually supports his product.
