I am running Backup Exec 9.1 and have started getting the following
error message

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa0008488 - Access is denied.

Final error category: Security Errors

Access denied to directory
RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-1214440339-1844237615-839522115-500\De238\.
Directory
E:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-1214440339-1844237615-839522115-500\De238 was not
found, or could not be accessed.
None of the files or subdirectories contained within will be backed up.

Looking on the Backup Exec web site it seems to say you need to put the
backup exec user account in the domain admins group, however I am
running 2000 server and this server is neither a domain controller or a
member of a domain, The backup exec service is running as
..administrator.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

JB
