Hi,

I'm the new tech at a printing company, and we had a failure on our
Storage Server.

The Storage Server's Specs are:
OS: Windows 2003: Appliance Edition (for Storage Server)
Sata Raid with 4 drives.

basically, one of the drives failed and has been replaced (drive on
port 2).

For some reason, when this computer was setup, the raid configuration
was this:
Array 1 - Raid 1 - Drives in Port 0 & 2
Array 2 - Raid 5 - All drives (port 0-3)

When the dead drive (port 2) was replaced, the first raid array rebuilt
itself, but the second array hasn't. The problem is, the first array
is the C: (OS/applications) and second array is the data drive (E
with all the necessary data for the company's prepress department. And
of course, the last full backup anyone did around here was about 6
months ago, so basically it is all useless information.

At this point, array 1 rebuilt itself (it took about 5 minutes), array
2 is still degraded. All I can tell from the Raid Manager is that the
logical drive 2 (drive 2, array #2, raid 5) is offline. ALl the
drivces appear to be online according to the Raid Manager.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.
