Burning to DVD

Using Ghost v9 to backup C: drive, gave me three 3.7 gig files. How do I
use Nero v6 to burn to a DVD? When I try to burn as an image it reports
incorrect file extension. When I burn as a file, Ghost Image Explorer cannot
read it. Any help on the correct way to do this is appreciated.
