Backitup2 Failure to Start

| When clicking backup files on the Nero 7 SmartStart menu for
Backitup2, I get this a message saying the program has generated
errors and shuts down. The error message recorded elsewhere is
this:

04:18:47 PM User name: Prescott Smith
04:18:47 PM Started date: 2006/07/19
04:18:48 PM Assert Failed!!!

Does anyone recognize what's going on here or how to fix it? It's
almost impossible to get any useful information from Nero.

| Hello.
Maybe it depends on you local time format (you can check it in the
Windows Control Panel).
In any case try to reinstall the Nero Suite.
